He is survived by: his wife Gloria Gragg Herring; his children, James Herring (Janell), Amarie "Teresa" Broyles and Savanna Hernandez (Isidoro "Torro"); his stepdaughter Tracey Cunningham (Donald); and his brothers, Avery Herring Jr. and Tommy Herring. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchildren.
