He was predeceased by: his father Glenn Hendrix; his wife Denise Hendrix; and his siblings, Theresa Hendrix, Roger Hendrix and John Hendrix.

He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Dillard Hendrix of Lenoir; his children, Angie Coffey, Shannon Coffey (April) of Lenoir, Danny Hendrix (Holly) of Lenoir, Chad Hendrix (Erin) of Lenoir and Brad Hendrix (Jennifer) of Gladys, VA; his stepdaughters, Tabatha and Julie; his grandchildren, Chasidy of Lenoir, Dylan of Lenoir, Emma Coffey of Lenoir, Danielle of Lenoir, Isaiah of Lenoir, Iseral of Lenoir, Natalie of Lenoir, Liam Hendrix of Lenoir, Caleb Hendrix (Holia) of Madison Heights, VA and Kaylee Yoder (Craig) of Hurt, VA.; his great grandchildren, Gabriel and Laikelynn Bryant; and his brother Rickey Hendrix (Ann) of Lenoir. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Service & Crematory (1070 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645).
