He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis McCrary, Sr. and Charlotte Summerlin McCrary; his brother Robert Eugene McCrary (Gene); and his son Chad McCrary. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gatewood McCrary; his daughters, Summer Ritchie and Shanna Rogers; his grandchildren, Rylei, Peightyn Ritchie and Justin Fuller (Kayla); his great grandchildren, Addilynn, Everly and Grayson Fuller; and his siblings, Gail Warren, Charles McCrary (Sharon) and Barbara Penley.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pendry's Funeral Home (522 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kings Creek Fire Dept, a group of committed first responders and firemen who have shown up so many times to help us over the last three years, or Amorem Hospice, who have been with us at home the last week of his life, with incredible commitment, love and compassion.
