He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Smith Norris and Trilla Crowder Norris; and his sister Joyce Norris. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Carroll Norris; his daughters, Ashley Grose (Jamie Johnson) of Lenoir and Renee Norris of Hudson; his siblings, Robert Norris (Patsy) of Conover, Earl Owens (Sue) of Hudson, Hilda Taylor of Gamewell and Loretta Chester of Gamewell; his grandchildren, Chase Grose, Elizabeth Coffey, Kennedy Felix and Brittany Swanson; and his great grandchild Harper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
