He was predeceased by : his father David Andrew Sanders; his siblings, Don Sanders, Jerry Sanders, Charles Sanders, David Sanders, Rob Sanders, Larry Sanders, Randy Sanders and Shirley Sanders; and his grandson Clayton Haynes.
He is survived by : his wife Joan Aleo Sanders; his daughter Susan Marie Hunsucker (Jonathan) of Morganton; his siblings, Kenny Sanders of Lenoir, Wayne Sanders of Lenoir, Gene Sanders of Hudson and Juanita Bryant of Hudson; and his grandchildren, Christina Haynes of Lenoir, Sabrina Hunsucker of Lenoir, Jonathan Hunsucker of Lenoir and Geneva Watts of Lenoir.
