He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Schirmacher; his daughter Jeanne Milman (Chad); his stepson Jesse Ciancimino; his grandchildren, Jesse Jr., Anthony and Emily; his siblings, Pete, Drew and Judy; his extended family Kristine Ciancimino Williams; and his granddaughters, Mary Eible Ciancimino and Madison.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Greenway Presbyterian Church (415 Pennell St NE, Lenoir, NC 28645).
