Gail Austin James Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gail Austin James of Lenoir, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Sterling Austin and Vertie Lee Faw Austin; her brother Paul Austin; and her son Jeffrey Thomas James. She is survived by: her husband Gary; her children, Michael Edward James and ElizaBETH Gail James-Isaacs; her son-in-law Michael Alan Isaacs of Lenoir; her brother Edward Austin (Sherry) of Chattanooga, TN; and her siblings-in-law, Bobby and Adene James of Lenoir.
