He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Edward Maltba and Pearl Triplett Maltba; his wife Diane Elizabeth Maltba of Lenoir, NC.; and his son Eddie Maltba (Michelle Maltba). He is survived by: his children, Tammy Poole (Gene Poole), Bryan Maltba (Terri Maltba), Crystal McGuire (David McGuire), Amy Lingerfelt (Greg Lingerfelt Sr.) and Gretta Maltba; his grandchildren, Amber Grout, Angie Black, Andrew Beach, Ariel Maltba, Gregory Lingerfelt Jr., Jennifer Thompson, Justin Maltba, Scottie Maltba, Shane McGuire and Tenisa Setzer; and his sisters, Nancy Jones and Seretta Gregory. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
