As we bid adieu to Gay's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Gay has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Gus" Chester and Bertha Watson Chester; her husband Richard N. Kirby; and her siblings, Ken Chester and Faye Chester.
She is survived by: her children, Richard N. Kirby Jr. and Patricia Kirby; her grandchildren, Spencer L. Kirby (Savanna) and Caitlin M. Kirby (Edward "Eddie" Mendes); and her great grandchild Ivey Mendes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to Amorem Hospice.
