We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2025, at the age of 53, James Edward Varner (Lenoir, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Edward Varner Sr. and Susan Luther Varner; his wife Allanea "Ally" Reece Varner; his children, Dustin Varner (Lisa), Summer White (Brandon), Mason Reece (Jasmine Hoyle) and Haven Crisp; his sisters, Lisa Edwards (David) and Sharon Mahan; his daughter-in-law Hayley Varner; and his grandchildren, Ollie, Selene, Sophia, Alice and Addie.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice in James' honor.
