It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Junior Barnes of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Reverend Ezekiel Barnes and Cordelia Barnes; his wife Tiny Barnes; his son Michael Barnes; and his brother Billy Barnes. He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Park (2017 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
