As Joe departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joe may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joe leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Leslie Roberts and Genevieve Smith Roberts; and his brothers, Bobby Roberts and John Campbell Roberts. He is survived by: his significant other Wadene Hartley Roberts; his sons, Chad Roberts (Kathy) and Marc Roberts (Thomas); his grandson Cameron Chad Roberts (Rachael); and his sisters, Sue Roberts Cobb of Lenoir, Mitzi Whittington of High Point and Gail Jones of Hudson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
