With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Josie Duncan (Lenoir, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Josie left this world on March 11, 2026 at the age of 102, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Pinkney Duncan; and her sons, Marshall Duncan (Virginia) and Richard Duncan. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Shimpock (John Thomas), Timothy Duncan (Barbara) and Roger Duncan (Clara); her granddaughter Melody Ammerman; and her children, Toni Duncan, Lori Glassey, Michelle Shimpock and John Thomas Shimpock IV. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members.
