She is survived by: her children, Amy Hendrix Haney and Kenneth Hendrix (Julie); her daughter-in-law Robin Saunders; her sister-in-law Cathie Hendrix; her nephew Richard Saunders; her sister Marcia Powell; her grandchildren, Charles Hendrix (Casey), Noah Haney (Bryanna), Dr. Jordan Reid (Corey), Ashley Simmons (Brandon), Jaziman Hendrix, Carrington Haney (Kendall) and Delaney Parsons; her great grandchildren, Mason, Colson Simmons and Spencer Hendrix; her nephew Chenoa Carson Hendrix; her great-niece Gracie Marie Hendrix; and her friends, Alan Clay, Floyd Hollars and Linda Steele.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evans Funeral Service & Crematory (1070 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family respectfully requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Amorem Hospice of Caldwell County.
