He was predeceased by : his parents, Asa Clark White Jr. and Jannetta Ray Hester; his wife Mary Heavner White; his siblings, Truehart White and Brenda Ann White Suggs; and his granddaughter Jessica Absher.

He is survived by : his sister Eva White Jordan; his children, Franklin White, Robin White and Denniene White Absher; his grandchildren, Nicholas White, Erin Marie Ostroff, Valerie Hall and Whitney Absher; and his great grandchildren, Eliana White, Lilliana Absher, Kieran White, Liliah White, Emory Bowyer, Logan Spears, Lydia Spears, Elijah Bowyer, Ezra Ostroff, Zayden Ostroff and Ariana Absher.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the College Avenue Baptist Church (1201 College Ave SW, Lenoir, NC 28645). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
