It is with sadness that the passing of Larry Dean Sanders (Lenoir, North Carolina) is shared. Larry, born on December 6, 1945, passed away on October 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Banner Sanders and Ruth Hicks Sanders; and his siblings, Danny Sanders, Jackie Sanders, Terry Sanders and Kay Sanders Chapman.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Sanders (Amy) and DeAnna Sanders Flowers (Toby); his grandchildren, Bryan Flowers (Savannah), Dylan Flowers (Skyler) and Lauren Sanders Pritchard (Jarrett); his great grandchildren, Wyatt Flowers, Janson Pritchard and Oaklan Flowers; and his sister Doris Sanders Warren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Park (2017 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
Larry loved ALL his children, so in lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN, 38101-9929.
