He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Virginia Faye Brewer Whitley of Lenoir; his siblings, Donald Lee Whitley, Danny Ray Whitley and Teresa Darlene Walker; his daughters, Amanda Cole (Chris) of Port Wenworth, GA and Heather Marie Whitley of Johnson City, TN.; his grandchildren, Christopher David Wayne Cole (Azshianna), Jayli Faye Marie Farris (Jesse) of Granite Falls and Zoey Cole of Lenoir; and his great grandchildren, Savannah Marie Grace Cole, Jasper Allen Wayne Farris and Lanei Michelle Farris of Granite Falls.
