He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Watson; and his sons, Mark Alvin Watson Jr. (Belinda), Mitchell Aaron Watson (Michael Summer) and Marlin Andrew Watson (Geri). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Baton Baptist Church (4991 Hickory Nut Ridge Rd, Hudson, NC 28638).
