Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Taylor Pipkins of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 89, on February 17, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Taylor and Effie Taylor; her husband Oscar "Bill" Pipkins Jr.; and her son-in-law Bob Navarro. She is survived by : her children, Beth Hancock (Lloyd), Gil Pipkins (Jenn), Ginny Navarro and Cathy Gibbons; her grandchildren, Jessica Pipkins, Charles Pipkins (Kel), James Hancock (Katy), Kerry Chiarello (Tom), Erik Thompson (Chloe), Sarah Holden (Zach) and Adam Gibbons; her great grandchildren, Percy and Penny Pipkins; and her sister Martha Harkey (Harry).

The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to First United Methodist Church of Lenoir and to Amorem Hospice.
