It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Joseph Hendrix (Lenoir, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Chuck Hendrix and Robin Hendrix; his aunt Terri Hendrix; and his cousin Spencer Hendrix. He is survived by : his brother Jon Hendrix (Abby); his nephew Jonathan; his niece Peyton; his uncles, Tim Hendrix, Darryl Hendrix (Lisa) and Ronnie Hendrix (Denina); his aunt Debbie Earp (Charles); his cousins, Jordan Hendrix (Nicole), Stacy Coolbaugh, Cody Earp (Bekki), Lindsay Young (Justin) and Caitlin Parham (Desmond); and his pet Maude.

In lieu of flowers, Matt requested contributions be made to his niece and nephew's college fund.
