She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Barnes and Darius Vernon Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Megan Williams (Kellen) and Cody Deal; and her grandchildren, Landen, Kendall and Knoxton. She is also survived by her partner for many years, and Jerry Deal, the father of her children.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Service & Crematory (1070 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645).
