She was predeceased by: her parents, Irdell Minton and Margery Minton; her husband Charlie Triplett; her son Derrick Fender; and her siblings, Ina Minton Hendrix, Willie Minton, Richard Minton, Emma Minton, Ruth Minton Hamby, Clinard Minton, Violet Minton Dollar and Ila Minton Greene.
She is survived by: her brother Paul Minton; and her stepsons, Steve Triplett and Terry Triplett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Park (2017 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
