He was predeceased by: his parents, Newell Marsh and Helen Marsh; his sisters, Joyce Wheeling and Jean Phillips; and his brother-in-law Gary Caudill.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Marsh; his daughters, Melissa Hamby, Beth Bryant (Robert Sipes) and Danett Harmon; his sisters, Doris Winkler (Paul), Mitzi Caudill and Shelly Wood; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Harmon; his grandchildren, Brian Hartley (Meagan), Bailey Presnell, Mason Presnell (Victoria), Deanna Gibson, Evan Gibson (Asher), Ian Gibson (Grace), Jayden Gibson, Isaiah Gibson and Ezekiel Haskett; and his great grandchildren, Harper Bryant and Addison See.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bailey's Camp Baptist Church (9195 Blackberry Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
