She is survived by: her husband Melvin Harrison; her children, Terry Harmon of Virginia, Robin Pitts (Steve) of Hudson and Kim Smith (Jimmy Purgeson) of Granite Falls; her grandchildren, Chris Pitts of Hudson, Kevin Pitts (Jenny) of Hickory, Zack Smith of Lenoir, Abby Smith of Granite Falls, Nikki Harmon of Virginia, Keith Harmon of Virginia, Amber Thibault of Georgia and Monica DeBeve of Lenoir; her siblings, Jerry Witherspoon of Granite Falls and Lynn Austin (Clark); Angie DeBeve of Hudson. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and one nephew.
