She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Rayvaughn Laws and Betty Lee Reid Laws; her son Kevin Paul Teague; her granddaughter Morgan Taylor Teague; and her sister Ruth Delaine Adams.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Melvin Teague; her children, Ronald Brian Teague (Mary) and Karen Jeanine Teague; her siblings, Steve Edward Laws and Rita Laws Key (Travis) of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Ashley Lauren Shook (Travis), Mariah Caroline Teague and Brylan Robert Teague; and her great grandchildren, Kinley Grace Waters and Wyatt Tate Shook.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel (725 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
