She was predeceased by: her parents, John Riggs and Charlotte Riggs; her husband Robert "Bob" Edward Wilson, Sr.; her stepgrandson Matthew Mobley; her great grandchild Caleb Causby; and her siblings, Gwyn Frye, Sabra Melton, Bill, Bass, John, Zeo and Ned Riggs.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Ed" Edward Wilson, Jr. (Jackie) and Tamala Wilson (Angela Bard); her granddaughters, Claudia Fuller (Richelle) and Heather Wilson; her great grandchildren, Emilyn Spears and Dax Wilson; her stepgreat-granddaughter Dorthy Farmer; her sister Mary Gay Hickman; her granddaughter Ashley; and her caregiver Melissa Fisher.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Calvary Advent Christian Church (1330 Delwood Dr SW, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Advent Chirstian Church (1330 Delwood Dr SW, Lenoir, NC 28645).
