She was predeceased by: her son Steve; and her grandson Andy. She is survived by: her husband Clay Hedrick; her children, Caroll Hedrick (Doris), Regina Brookshire (Doug) and Allison Hoyle (Mark); her daughter-in-law Dorcas Hedrick; her grandchildren, Jeff Hedrick (Crystal), Robert Hedrick (Kim), Jamie White (Phillip), John Brookshire (Andrea) and Matthew Hoyle (Mary); and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Timothy, Garrett, Samuel, Corryn, Josephine, Holden, Laurel, Savannah and Lacey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kings Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (4698 Kings Creek Church Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kings Creek Baptist Church (4698 Kings Creek Church Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
