He was predeceased by: his parents, Conard Poarch and Esther Haas Poarch; his sister Patsy Poarch Suddreth; and his father-in-law Gonnie James Greer. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Greer Poarch; his daughters, Heather Ferretti (Franklin) and Addison Poarch; his siblings, Ernest Poarch, Sharon Arrowood, Diane Cornett, Kenneth Poarch (Brenda), Linda Hartley (Joe), Don Poarch (Cyndi), Jeffery Poarch (Debbie) and Grace Poarch; his grandchildren, Ebie Poarch, Emma Clark, Rosie Clark and Cooper Ferretti; and his mother-in-law Joy L. Greer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (1787 Cajah Mountain Rd, Hudson, NC 28638).
