Roy Levi Pitts Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Levi Pitts of Lenoir, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Roy Levi's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Roy Levi's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall G. Pitts and Bessie Davis Pitts; his wife Barbara Gentry Pitts; and his siblings, Jay, Ray Pitts, Pansy Kirby, Oleta Johnson, Ann Keesee, Irene Hartsoe and Billie Sue West. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, and many special friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Park (2017 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Methodist Church, 901 Seehorn St NE, Lenoir, NC 28645.
