Ruby Dula Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruby Dula of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Ruby shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ruby farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Branch and Fannie Navy Branch; and her significant other Larry Wayne Dula. She is survived by: her children, Lisa McDonald (Kim) and Deric McDonald (Kim) of Hudson, NC; her grandchildren, Morgan Ledford (Matt), Cody McDonald (Chelsey) and Spencer McNeil; and her great grandchildren, McKinley McDonald and Rowan Ledford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ruby suffered from Alzheimer's, Vascular Dementia, and Parkinson's Disease, in lieu, the family respectfully requests donations be made to any foundations related to those diseases in honor of Ruby.
