It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Calvin Johnson Jr. of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Calvin Johnson, Sr. and Juanita Johnson Moose (Love); and his son Jeffrey Lynn Johnson. He is survived by : his wife Willadean Johnson (McCall); his children, Christopher Scott Johnson (Donna) and Cynthia Crotts (Chris); his brother Jerry Johnson; his grandchildren, Ethan Johnson, Mara Johnson, Masha Johnson, Jacob Crotts and Nicolas Crotts; and his great grandchildren, Rachel Crotts and Harper Crotts. He is also survived by his family including his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
