It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephanie Lynn Miersch of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Stephanie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Stephanie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Stephanie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay McFarland and Ellen McFarland. She is survived by: her children, Brieana Leonard (Kenny) of Denton, Taryn Felton (Bob) of Hickory and Asher Miersch of Denton; her grandchildren, Blake Deen, Jayce Deen, Autumn Leonard and Jasper Felton; and her sister Melodie Miersch (John) of Denton. She is also survived by her three nephews and one niece.
