He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanders Walton and Lorena Walton; his sisters, Sandra Walton, Avanna Lipford, Sylvia Gonzalez and Georgia Perkins; his niece Tammy Monique Walton; his grandson Cameron Walton; and his great-niece Tami Nya-Jha Walton.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie Walton; and his children, Kim Walton of Lenoir, NC, Serena Scott of Hickory, NC, Anissa Stowe of Winston-Salem, NC, Steven Walton of Lenoir, NC, Latisha Reid of Lenoir, NC and Halona Walton of Roanoke, VA.
