He was predeceased by: his father James J. Putman; and his brother Timothy J. Putman. He is survived by: his mother Shirley J. Putman; his son Terry "Lindsay" Putman, II (Allison); and his grandchildren, James Wray Putman, Henry Tyree Putman (PawPaw) and Lily Ann Putman.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Highland Baptist Church (8524 Crowder Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603). Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
