He was predeceased by: his parents, William Myers and Rosa Myers (Payne); his siblings, William, Johnny, Ralph, Thelma, Harrold, Rosemma, Cleora, George, Orvill, Karl, Suzanne and Russell; his grandson Shane; his niece Rosalie; and also Steven.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry, Gary, Caron and Shelby; his wife Lori Myers (Schnepper); his children, Gwen (Ohio), Terrie (Ohio), Walter Jr. (Ohio) and Tara; his grandsons, Jake (Mary), Matt (Cheryl) and Seth; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Andrew, Sidney, Savannah and Sophia.
