It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilhelmina Roberts of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse George Witherspoon and Augusta Davenport Witherspoon; her husband James "JD" David Roberts; and her grandson Jerome O. Corpening. She is survived by: her children, James Edward Witherspoon of Lenoir, Michael Moore of Baltimore, MD, Ernest Allen Audrey of Lenoir, Pamela Witherspoon Harshaw (Ira) of Lenoir, Lisa Alexander of Greensboro and Lori Salter of Stockbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Adrienne Audrey, Ryan Audrey, Althea Scott, Tomeka Audrey, Shanice Salter, Miles Alexander, Alex Audrey, Caroline Allen, Desmond Patterson, Desmond Witherspoon, Fabian Witherspoon, Allen Audrey and Felicia Sanders; and her siblings, Mattie Patterson, Carolyn Michaux, Jerome Witherspoon, Deborah Witherspoon and Linda Tate. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
