He is survived by: his wife Judith Smith; his son Chandler Settlemyre; his stepson Randall Ford; his niece Amelia Enloe; his mother-in-law Sandra Smith; his siblings-in-law, Carol Smith and Robbie Smith; and his pet Cutesie. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Piney Grove Baptist Church (2331 Piney Grove Cir, Lenoir, NC 28645). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
