He is survived by: his mother Leona Scott Leggett of Charlotte, NC.; his son Richard Scott Johnson (Darlene Jones Hutchins) of Charlotte, NC; his stepdaughters, Kristin Leigh Hutchins of Lewisville, NC and Lindsay Brooke Hutchins of Denver, CO; and his grandson Jared Allen Petron of Lewisville, NC..
