It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Lee Cody Sr. of Lexington, North Carolina, born in Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Cody and Martishie Pierce Cody; his wife Lorece Russell Cody; and his siblings, Robert Cody and Pauline Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Albert "Al" L. Cody, Jr. (Cindy) of Lexington, Linda Cody Hale (Alan) of Mooresville and Karen Cody Coe of Lexington; his grandchildren, Ladonna Hilton (Adam), Amy Goins (Darrick) and Zachary Cody (Lily); his great grandchildren, Sarah Reece Hilton, Brantley Mason Cody, Georgia Caroline Cody and Jensen Russell-Bly Cody; and his sisters, Minnie Smith of Trinity and Nancy Blanton of Kernersville.
