It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Burkhart of Lexington, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. Allen and Olean Scates Allen; her grandson Ethan Barnes; her great grandchild Stella Kate Agee; and her sister Vickie Cross.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Burkhart of Willowbrook; her daughter Andra Barnes (Todd) of Beaufort, NC; her grandchildren, Lindley Farris (Ramsey) and Hunter Kate Agee (Owen); her great grandchild Hadley Grace Barnes; and her sister Sandra Spry of Lexington.
