Barbery Parsons Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbery Parsons of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Parsons; her pet Buddy; her parents, Willie Dillard Duncan and Rushie Duncan; and her siblings, Harley Duncan, Jerry Duncan, Davis Duncan, Charles Duncan, Frank Duncan, Corey Duncan, Edith Edwards, Dorothy Wakefield and Elaine Elizabeth Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Parsons (Lisa), Sheila Sellers (David), Marty Parsons (Lisa) and Amanda Benson (Barry); her grandchildren, Wesley Sellers, Sidney "Alex" Kolesar (Maya), Tyler Sellers (Paige) and Kurtis Rogers (Katie); her great grandchildren, Bayleigh Sellers and Fletcher Rogers; her sister Martha Tilley; and her sisters-in-law, Bytha Duncan and Jerry Ann Duncan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (1432 US-21, State Rd, NC 28676).
