He was predeceased by: his parents, John David (JD) and Savannah Shoaf; and his grandsons, Preston Shoaf and Sander Shoaf. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sisters, Kaye Odell (William) of Lexington, Ann Younts (Wayne) of Lexington, Rita Lanier (Dennis) of Lexington and Cathy James (Donnie) of Lexington; his sons, Benjamin Shoaf (Michele) of Lexington, Brandon Shoaf (Meghan) of Hertford, NC and Brent Shoaf of Minneapolis, MN; and his grandchildren, Spencer Shoaf (Ryane), Carson Shoaf of Lexington, Salter and Savvy Shoaf of Hertford, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
