He was predeceased by: his parents, Treely Eli Luffman and Ruth Mae Love Luffman; his wife Louise Walser Luffman; his siblings, Lawrence Odell Luffman, David Lee Luffman, Pearl Elizabeth Simmerson, Doris Lucille Maynard, Kathleen Marie Mincey and Rachel Mae Smith; and his granddaughter Kimberly Lockhart.
He is survived by: his son Lynn Luffman; his daughter-in-law Brenda; his sister Margaret Jane Baker; his grandchildren, Beth and Ashley; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Larry, Austin, Tony, Nick, Codie, Brian and Abe.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Good Hope United Methodist Church at 10253 Hampton Rd, Lexington, NC 27295, where Billy was a faithful member and found spiritual solace throughout his life.
