Blanche Leonard Younts Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Blanche Leonard Younts of Lexington, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Clayton Leonard and Bertha Craver Leonard; her significant other Richard Worth Younts; her daughter-in-law Rebecca Younts; and her siblings, Paul Leonard, Orville Leonard, Harvey Leonard, Clarence Leonard, Ellard Leonard, Allen Leonard, Mae Leonard Weaver and Mildred Leonard Barby.
She is survived by: her son Rick Younts of Lexington; her grandson Daniel Younts (Heather); and her great grandchild Xander.
The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home (858 Hickory Tree Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27127). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Reedy Creek Church of Christ (2129 Reedy Creek Rd, Lexington, NC 27295).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
