He is survived by: his wife Linda Essick Mitchell; his children, Bobby "Jim" Mitchell Jr. (Ceretha), Jeffrey "Jeff" Keith Mitchell (Tiffany) and Kristi Wall (Jerry); his sister MaryAnn Motsinger; his grandchildren, Chase Mitchell (Carley), Jordan Mitchell (Kaitlyn), Justis Mitchell, Madison Wall, Ayden Wall and Kaylin Wall; his great grandchildren, Collins Mitchell and Carter Mitchell; and his stepgrandchildren, Alisha Moody and Christian Moody.
