He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Walser and Letha Shoaf Walser; his wife Shirley Michael Walser; his sons, Michael and Craig Walser; and his siblings, Larry, Howard, Richard Walser, Lucille Kirk and Mazie Troutman.

He is survived by: his children, Scott Walser of Florida, Annette Bell (Roger) of Lexington and Peggy Swicegood (Howard) of Lexington; his siblings, Wilford Walser of Lexington, Carolyn Weaver and Donna Berrier (Larry) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Nicholas, Brittany, Stephenie, Brooke and Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Potter, Lincoln, Kline, Drake, Allie, Chase, Robert and Annemarie.
