She was predeceased by: her father Emery Essick; her husband Bobby E. Kirk; and her siblings, Arlie, Ellard, Frank, Gilmer, Harold Essick, Blanche Hanes and Jean Leonard.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Kirk (Donna) of Lexington, Cammie Kirk (Michelle) of Lexington and Regina Ridenhour of Richfield. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
