He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Hedrick and Esther Cornelia Swing Hedrick; his wife Louise Farlow Hedrick; his son Gary Boyd Hedrick; and his siblings, Gerald Hedrick, Larry Hedrick and Jackie Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Greg Kent Hedrick (Lynn), Mark S. Hedrick (Janet) and Julie Hedrick; his siblings, Bill Hedrick and Phylis Trogdon; his grandchildren, Emily Hackett (Todd), Adam Hedrick (Mary Catherine), Elizabeth Lanning, Jonathan Lanning (Jasmine), Jacob Lanning, Jeremy Reece (Nichole), Jennifer Smith (Drew), George Wilson, Jr. and Judy Wilson; and his great grandchildren, MacKenley Hedrick, Hadley Hedrick, Harper Hackett, Evelyn Hackett, Kinley Reece, Ashton Smith, Easton Smith and Sadie Louise Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other extended family.
