It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Gail Zimmerman of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on August 14, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Brenda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Brenda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Brenda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Banks (Mozelle Gobble) and Brenda; and her sisters, Betty Hiatt and Jewell Nicholson. She is survived by: her husband Phillip Zimmerman; her daughters, Gwen Cook (Daryl) and Anna Wishon (Rodney); and her grandchildren, Mechim Cook (Liana), Grayson Cook and Webb Wishon.
