He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Mae Hamilton Davis and Jacob Dewitt Davis; and his siblings, Margaret J. Mack, Fannie D. Marshall, Carlton Davis, Jackson Davis, Sr. and Larry Davis.
He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Perkins Horton; his friend Lillian Moser; his siblings, Thomas Dewitt Davis, Sabina Davis Cade, Jameshia Gilmore and Adolph Hayden; his siblings-in-law, Joseph Mack, Gloria Davis and Doris Davis; and his godson David James Makuson (Laurie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.
